Occasionally, these prices will change due to inflation and a
fluctuating economy. For
current prices and details as to what services and products are

are the differences in the two types of care offered by the
GrayBrier?
|
| A. |
Assisted
Living
- Assisted living is for the resident that is rather independent
but needs a little assistance in activities of daily living (ADLs)
such as bathing or dressing.
|
|
Nursing Care
- Nursing care is for the resident requiring acute care and needs the assistance and
supervision of a nurse 24 hours a day.

Does
the GrayBrier offer therapy?
|

According to physicians’ orders, residents are provided
with three types of therapy performed in-house.
These types of therapy include Speech therapy, Occupational

Are
licensed nurses on duty continuously?
|
| A. |
Yes. Registered Nurses (RN) and

director available to our residents on a full-time basis.
|
| Q. |
What
is the difference between an Assisted Living Facility and a Nursing
Care Facility?
|
| A. |
Assisted Living Facility
- An Assisted Living Facility typically cares for residents who
need a minimum of daily assistance for normal living. They do not require the care provided by a licensed nurse.
The predominant care-staff in an assisted living facility
are non-licensed nursing assistants.
|
|
Nursing Care Facility
- A Nursing Care Facility is required by law to provide licensed
nurses 24 hours a day. Typically,
nursing patients require certain services, which must be
provided by a licensed nurse only.

| Q. |
Who
do I address my concerns to about my family member at the GrayBrier?
|
| A. |
The
GrayBrier has a wonderful support team available to residents and
family members. We
understand that making the transition from one’s familiar home to
a nursing home can be difficult for residents and family members.
Therefore, we have an excellent social work team who is
always available to listen. In
addition, depending on the type of concern you have, you might also
be directed to a staff member within the department of your concern.
